Božena Augustínová

A versatile artist, known in professional circles primarily for her extensive and significant textile work, was also an outstanding graphic artist and illustrator. Božena Augustínová created poetic figurative compositions characterized by dreamlike landscapes and a harmonious arrangement of objects in space. During her long and prolific career, Božena Augustínová established a strong position on the Czechoslovak art scene in the second half of the 20th century.
