Barbora Blahutová

* 1.5.1941

A living legend of Czech sculpture, Barbora Blahutová studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and later at the Accademia di Brera in Milan, where she was a pupil of the renowned Marino Marini. An immensely versatile artist, she spent part of her life in Italy and Germany before eventually returning to South Bohemia. Here, she now focuses primarily on smaller forms. Her captivating collages and assemblages not only showcase her masterful work with materials but also attest to her extraordinary artistic talent.
