Lucie Skřivánková, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, is a leading painter of the contemporary young generation. Her work is characterized by bold pastel colors and sweeping gestural brushstrokes. The morphology of her paintings harmonizes perfectly with modern architecture, further enhanced by her unusual painting technique involving thick layers of facade paints.
